  • Supply Chain Specialist

    Job Description:
    1. Standardize logistics processes, operational tools, operating standards, and supplier management activities.
    2. Develop and implement highly efficient logistics policies and procedures in line with best practices, to offer and deliver timely and cost-effective logistics solutions for the organization.
    3. Collaborate with the brand Manager to launch Request for Quote (RFQ) and support negotiations and final forwarder selection to optimize total cost and lead-time.
    4. Oversee, review and monitor the entire logistics process to ensure it meets the set objectives in terms of productivity, quality, customer satisfaction, cost and timelines.
    5. Create, manage and communicate documents for logistics requirements, leading the tender process through evaluation, post tender negotiation, contracting, purchase order and delivery.
    6. Analyse and forecast the demand for products supply from different clients segments to determine optimal order quantities
    7. Perform cost analysis to identify the most economical ordering and distribution strategies, including break-even analysis.
    8. Focus on optimizing resources and determining the most cost effective and efficient means of transporting and storing products and supplies.
    9. Negotiate and manage invoicing and payments contracts with suppliers with the management.
    10. In charge of the full order cycle and make sure that ordered goods are delivered to the end user
    11. Work based on priority and criticality of requisitions for shipments to be delivered on time to the vessels.
    12. Track of local POs for proper reception in the ERP system NetSuite and close out activities
    13. Keep updated the compliance log: tracking, documentation validity, regular systems update and review, weekly, monthly and KPI reports.
    14. Work with 3PL Agents to custom clear and delivered imported goods in country in a compliance way.
    15. Follow up with Vessel agent and supply boat regarding local delivery to vessels and terminals logistics.
    16. Assist with customs clearance issues with agents and obtain needed information.
    17. Manage priorities effectively to support and achieve on time delivery of requirements and projects launch dates.
    18. Strong negotiation skills and a track record of earning stakeholder trust, taking ownership and delivering results.
    19. Review, and attentively monitor and enforce compliance of all internal clients and stakeholders with procedures, suggesting procedural improvements to the management.
    20. Monitor and negotiate with local vendors and deliveries associated with local purchases.
    21. Monitor local storage costs in the most diligent and cost-effective levels.
    22. Develop risk management programs to ensure continuity of supply in emergency scenarios.
    23. Oversee and support the implementation of the NetSuite ERP system and leverage it for managing and maintaining high quality and accurate data records of shipments, inventory, supply of goods, etc.

    Qualifications:

    1. Proven experience in B2B sales, particularly in the FF&E industry.
    2. Proficiency in CRM & ERP software and tools.
    3. Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
    4. Results-driven, self-motivated, and a passion for B2B.
    5. Strong ability to create design mood boards and technical design proposals.
