Vuelo Cushion - Elm Green

The Ferm Living x Utzon – Can Lis collaboration draws inspiration from architect Jørn Utzon’s family home in Mallorca, merging the natural environment with design elements that reflect his unique philosophy. The Vuelo Cushion pays homage to Utzon’s artistic sensitivity to natural forms, featuring embroidered artwork that reproduces his bird sketches created at Can Lis. ‘Vuelo’ references the Spanish word for ‘flight’ and captures the grace inherent to the bird motif. Crafted from chambray cotton-linen fabric in a rectangular format, the cushion features contrasting cotton thread embroidery, adding tactile and visual depth. The flowing lines of the bird sketches evoke movement and organic form, reflecting the spatial fluidity and openness of Can Lis.
